IP address handling

Full IP addresses are stored and resolved to an approximate country, region and city using server or network-provider geolocation data. This supports visit reporting, unique-visitor estimates and unusual-traffic detection. IP geolocation is approximate and does not represent a visitor's precise location. Detailed records are restricted to authorised administrators.

Retention

Detailed analytics records are retained for 30 days by default and are then removed automatically. Security and administrative audit logs are retained for at least 180 days.
